The service

This site provides a free tool that validates ONIX for Books XML files against the official EDItEUR schemas and a set of documented metadata-quality rules. Results are provided for guidance only.

No guarantee of acceptance

A schema-valid result does not guarantee that any retailer, distributor, or other recipient will accept your file. Recipients apply their own additional requirements. We are not affiliated with EDItEUR, Amazon, Ingram, or Google.

Acceptable use

Do not upload files you have no right to process, attempt to disrupt the service, or exceed the documented file-size and rate limits. We may block abusive usage.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the service or from decisions made based on validation results.
